Other visa validity of 1 month, 3 months, 6 months are no longer exist. It is far higher than the visa stamping fee which they are used to pay for 1 month single entry visa (25 USD per visa) or 3 month multiple entry visa (50 USD per visa) before.

Even the U.S passport holders are granted 1 year multiple entry tourist visa, the maximum duration for each visit is 90 days. It means that you can’t stay in Vietnam for more than 3 months at a time, and have to leave the country and return for another 3 months of stay. It turn out to be not as easy as we thought!
